More than 2crore rupees raised at a charity fundraiser through music concert to support the development of Govt Schools in association with UB City
Save Govt Schools Movement is a statewide movement with the aim to revive govt schools in Karnataka. With more than 2lac supporters in just six months, it’s now become a people’s movement.
In partnership with UB city, we have hosted a charity fundraiser to support the development of govt schools. Grammy Award Winner Ricky Kej and renowned artist Vilas Nayak have performed at this evening.
People from across the state demanded new “State Education Policy” and participated in an open discussion.
Led by 31-year old Anil Shetty, #SaveGovtSchool campaign has successfully crossed a two-lakh mark in two months, in terms of supporters giving a missed call to endorse the campaign and contribute to it.

A state wide movement lead by Anil Shetty, with an agenda to ensure free and quality education in state run government schools. Started as a missed call campaign in July turning into a movement with more than 2lakh people supporting the idea. We are now demanding a new “State Education Policy” and govt has already consented to consider our suggestions in making the policy.
